Christmas Part IV

We stayed at Sorensens from Saturday evening until Wednesday, so we had lots of time to relax and spend time with the family. On Monday night, Cammie asked Sadie if she wanted to have a sleepover at her condo. Of course Sadie said yes and barely even said goodbye to us as they were leaving. I don't know all the details of their special night, but I do know it involved popcorn and juice in bed, watching Sadie's favorite movie "White Christmas" and replaying the dancing scenes over and over, and getting to use pink cups, bowls, plates, etc. Sadie is still talking about it and loved getting to have that special time with her Auntie Cam. They came back on Tuesday morning, just in time for the Sorensen women's outing---manicure, lunch, and exchanging our 'favorite things'. (We each picked one of our 'favorite things' and then bought 5 of them--one for each person. It was so much fun and sounds like it will be a new tradition of ours!)

When Sadie was picking out colors for her nails, she noticed one of the acrylic nails that had a rainbow of colors on it and of course, that was exactly what she wanted. When the woman doing her nails asked if she wanted a rhinestone to go with it, she got a huge grin on her face and loved that she was the only one with sparkles on her nails. These nails perfectly describe her little personality.

And always writing on something.....she sat here with her sucker, writing and waiting for everyone to finish.

Myself, Christy and Cammie (Sadie was sitting next to me but was so tired from her sleepover with Auntie Cam and all the activities of the day, that by this point at 1pm, she wanted to lay down for a bit, although the food gave her some much needed energy)
