Smith Family Reunion Part IV

This is what the mornings looked like around our place...clearly Blake warmed up to Ty quite easily
(Poor Ty was such a good sport!)
Attempting to show Wyatt some fun apps while Blake used Ty as a jungle gym
Sailing with Papa
I took this picture on one of my many runs to the gas station to fill up on fuel for the boat....Papa loves to remind us all that sailing doesn't cost a thing, is quiet and good for the environment:)

This is a frequent sight when Sadie is skiing...the signal for home...she usually gives the home signal shortly after she starts skiing!

And Blake didn't want to try skiing yet this year....he preferred to practice on the boat

Ty Luther provided the best entertainment when it came to learning how to ski...he was an exceptional listener and often followed Matt's instructions a bit too literally
(When Matt said "Let the boat do the work", he just hung on, waiting for the boat to do the work for him.....needless to say, it provided many stories and moments we are still recalling!)

A few more people wakeboarding, skiing, and sailing
And what would some time on Stormy Lake be without a 'swimming party', as Sadie calls it---it's her favorite thing to do and she usually initiates them!

Man I love this guy!

A happy girl after a swimming party
Wyatt's first attempt at slaloming...we started off the boom but he had no problem even dropping a ski behind the boat!
Feelin' pretty good
I love this picture...check out the faces...think they are related?

But in the spirit of keeping it real, not everything works smoothly the first time around! That's part of the fun of Stormy Lake!

This one really hurt!
And of course, what would time at Stormy be without losing a few things to the lake...Cammie's boyfriend Chris couldn't find his book and offered the kids a reward if they found it...sure enough, they found it alright!

Enjoying some time with Ty before we headed over to Grammy and Papa's to do fireworks...again Ty served as my kids' indoor jungle gym!
And introducing my kids to the Photo Booth app...
These are just a few of the pictures Ty created for my kids and they thought they were just hilarious!!
Do you think we've got enough fireworks??

Bringing the loot of fireworks
Of course we started off small with some sparkler fun...

Blake's new favorite seat (aka his motorcycle)
I love this picture...Sadie getting some help with her sweatshirt from her Grammy and
Great Grammy (Gigi)
And then came the real show....I'm not sure what's more fun to watch....the actual fireworks display (which was fit for a small town) or watching Uncle Kyle and Matt run away after lighting the fuses and hoping all goes well!
Another day in the books at Stormy--July 4th 2013 was complete--but we still had a few more days of fun left to be had!
