Loving this stage

Sadie has been loving school lately and continues to provide ample entertainment around our house. I really need to take a video of her 'teaching' her babies. It's what she loves to do most. She will come home from school and even before she has finished telling me all about her day, she will take one or all of her babies in another room and teach them whatever Bible story she learned about at school that day. It is absolutely hilarious to hear her stories and there are so many things she says that I try and remember, but when she has about 10 different quotable quotes within 10 minutes, I just can't keep up. But this girl CANNOT get enough of being told a story or telling stories....she definitely got this gift from her Papa, Matt's Dad. And we just love to sit and listen to all the stories she tells.

This is what Sadie does every morning.....snuggle up with Daddy in his chair. When the kids wake up, Matt is usually just finishing his quiet time in the office and Sadie loves to curl up on his lap and cuddle with him. And he loves it too! (On this day, she had her first dance class of the year and was so excited that she got dressed all by herself before coming downstairs.)
Her babies...I figured I should take a picture of Sadie and all her babies while I can still remember all their names. Someday, I know, I will look back fondly on these days but possibly won't remember all the details.....so from left to right, Sadie-Baby Kate (who has taken up residence in the kids' bathtub, hence the lack of clothing)-Baby Ashley-Baby Doll-Baby Owen-Baby Maddy.
Exhausted!!! I actually took this before school started and had let Sadie go without a nap so that she would be tired enough to get to bed early that night. She was getting so tired that I told her she could watch a movie in the family room for a bit and when I came back in to the room, she was like this!

I am just cherishing this time with Sadie and love this stage in her life. She is thriving in school and loves learning, but she still enjoys being at home with me and playing pretend with her babies! Can I just stop her from growing up right now?
