Four years ago on this day, Matt and I became parents. We had no idea what we were getting in to, but we knew we were in love with this amazing miracle that God had blessed us with and would do everything possible to demonstrate our love to him. Wyatt Matthew Sorensen was born just before 1pm and ever since that moment, our lives have been richer. Wyatt made me a mother and Matt a father---and has taught us so much about ourselves and himself ever since. He keeps us thinking and reading just about every parenting book that is out there! He's got a tender heart that I just love and a stubborn side that can drive me nuts. But he's Wyatt and we are so blessed to have him in our family. God created an amazing young man when He made our son and we feel so honored to be his parents and to help him grow into a godly man.

Wow!!! Four years ago - I can hardly believe that is was that long ago. I still feel like it was yesterday when you were up with contractions most of the night at our house and when it was finally time to go early that morning Matt just had to have a bowl of cereal before you left :)(as you were leaning against the wall with every contraction!!) I'm laughing out loud thinking of it right now!
