Father's Day
We spent Father's Day weekend at Matt's grandparents up in Michigan. We are trying to take advantage of our relative proximity to things before we move up to Minnesota and are much farther away. We were able to see Matt's parents and some of his siblings, his grandparents, and several aunts and uncles and cousins. It was a wonderful and relaxing weekend--but too short. The kids are still asking when we can go back!
The water was quite cold, so we just checked out the waves for awhile to see how close we could get without getting too wet!
And what better place to get in a good workout than on the beach. Both Sadie and Wyatt took full advantage...
...using her brothers shoes as buckets..
...and enjoying the freedom of being able to got potty outside, despite the fact that 9/10 times she did this she didn't actually have to go.
Go-karting with Daddy is dirty and dangerous--but oh so much fun!
Back to the beach to watch the sunset
Unfortunately this picture was a bit blurry, but it's amazing that these brothers do the exact same things without even thinking about it--they didn't even realize this had happened until I showed them the picture later on!
Sadie in her glory---convincing 3 adults to play 'ring around the rosey' with her on the beach and making sure they all 'went down'!
